Preview: Farrell Steelers vs. West Middlesex Big Reds
Farrell is 10-0 against West Middlesex since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Farrell Steelers will be home for the holidays to greet the West Middlesex Big Reds at 7:30 p.m. West Middlesex took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Farrell, who comes in off a win.
Farrell had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Reynolds 85-39 on the road.
Farrell got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Dontaye Bell out in front who scored 15 points. Another player making a difference was Julius Phillips Jr, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, West Middlesex came up short against Kennedy Catholic on Friday and fell 63-50. West Middlesex has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Farrell's win was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-0. As for West Middlesex, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
Farrell strolled past West Middlesex in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 65-49. Will Farrell repeat their success, or does West Middlesex have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
