Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian was the 44-35 winner over Roanoke Valley Christian when they last played one another on January 11th, but their luck changed this time around. The Faith Christian Warriors fell 44-34 to the Roanoke Valley Christian EAGLES on Monday. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian lost, don't look at Matthew Burton. Despite the final result, he posted 21 points and six rebounds. The contest was Burton's third in a row with at least ten points.

Roanoke Valley Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Logan Gutierrez led the charge by going 5 of 11 en route to 15 points and eight boards.
