Basketball Recap: Waite Comes Up Short

Waite was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 60-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Toledo Christian Eagles.

Waite's record is now 0-7. As for Toledo Christian, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Waite will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clyde at 6:00 p.m. on the 29th. As for Toledo Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Maumee Valley Country Day at 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
