It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Godwin can now relate to. They fell just short of the James River Midlothian Rapids by a score of 3-2 on Friday. The Eagles' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Godwin got a good showing from Quinton Caraher, who pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Caraher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
