Prosper is a perfect 5-0 against Midway since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Eagles will face off against the Panthers. Prosper's pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so Midway's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Prosper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They blew past Keller 11-2. Considering the Eagles have won 18 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Midway faced Klein Cain in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Hurricanes 9-8. That's two games straight that the Panthers have won by just one run.

Prosper has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 23 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Midway, they pushed their record up to 30-7 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Prosper took their victory against Midway in their previous meeting back in March of 2020 by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
