Softball Preview: Liberty-Benton Eagles vs. Bryan Golden Bears
The Liberty-Benton Eagles will challenge the Bryan Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty-Benton will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.
On Monday, Liberty-Benton got the win against Vanlue by a conclusive 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won five contests by nine runs or more so far this season.
Liberty-Benton got a massive performance out of Kylie Steinman, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Megan Gerken, who went 2-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
Meanwhile, while Bryan put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Delta. The Golden Bears blew past the Panthers 12-0. That looming 12-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Golden Bears yet this season.
