Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cypress Springs walked away with it. They blew past the College Park Cavaliers, posting a 73-28 win. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matches by 20 points or more this season.

It was another big night for Ayla Mcdowell, who dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds. Her evening made it eight games in a row in which she has scored at least 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jemini Mitchell, who posted 14 points and three steals.

Cypress Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 20 consecutive games.

Cypress Springs' victory bumped their record up to 29-3. As for College Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-12.

Coming up, Cypress Springs will square off against DeSoto at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Cypress Springs' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight contests. College Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
