Softball Recap: Normandy Takes a Loss

Normandy managed to slip by Cuyahoga Heights the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Invaders came up short against the Red Wolves on Tuesday, falling 13-7. The Invaders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Lizzie Skidmore was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-5 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Bailey, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Normandy is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Normandy didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-6 loss against North Olmsted on the 4th. As for Cuyahoga Heights, they have also already played their next contest, a 15-0 defeat against Olmsted Falls on the 4th.
