Basketball Recap: KIPP Columbus Takes a Loss

KIPP Columbus was the 32-31 winner over Ohio School for the Deaf when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The KIPP Columbus Jaguars might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Ohio School for the Deaf Spartans an easy 43-17 win. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

KIPP Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Ohio School for the Deaf, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-3.

KIPP Columbus will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Patriot Prep Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Ohio School for the Deaf will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Cristo Rey at 6:00 p.m. on January 15, 2025.
