Football Recap: Jaiden Summers and Kamari Mcdonald Secure Win for Lexington Senior

Lexington Senior played in-conference for the first time on Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They came out on top against the Montgomery Central Timberwolves by a score of 21-13. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Yellowjackets as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

A big part of Lexington Senior's win came down to the chemistry between Jaiden Summers and his top target Kamari McDonald. Summers threw for 232 yards and a pair of TDs while McDonald picked up 131 receiving yards and two touchdowns. McDonald has become a key player for Lexington Senior: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 2-3 otherwise.

Lexington Senior didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Montgomery Central to a completion percentage of just 40.9%. The Yellowjackets weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 65.7%.

The victory got Lexington Senior back to even at 4-4. As for Montgomery Central, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 4-4.
