Toledo came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Myrtle Point Bobcats on the board, marking their second-straight 13-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Boomers, who have now won three contests by 13 runs or more so far this season.

Toledo's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Myrtle Point, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
