Volleyball Preview: Mayo Spartans vs. Austin Packers

Meanwhile, Austin came up short against Owatonna on Tuesday and fell 3-1. The Packers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
While Austin had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 14 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 18-25, 28-26, 25-14.
The losing side was boosted by Haleigh Holman, who had six digs and 14 assists. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted ten or more in the last four games she's played.
Mayo has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Austin, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
