Basketball Recap: Hope Takes a Loss

Hope and Pilgrim squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Hope had to settle for second. They took a 45-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pilgrim Patriots. The loss continues a trend for the Blue Wave in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

Hope now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Pilgrim, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Hope does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pilgrim, they will take on Lincoln School at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Lincoln School sitting on ten straight wins and Pilgrim on six.
