Basketball Recap: St. Thomas More Has No Trouble Against St. Joseph

St. Thomas More won the last time they faced St. Joseph and things went their way on Tuesday too. The St. Thomas More Cavaliers strolled past the St. Joseph Lancers with points to spare, taking the game 52-35. The 52-point effort marked the Cavaliers' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

St. Thomas More now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Joseph, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

St. Thomas More will face off against Martin Luther at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Martin Luther's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for St. Joseph, they will be playing in front of their home fans against The Prairie School at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Prairie School knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully St. Joseph likes a good challenge.
