Baseball Recap: East Hamilton Has No Trouble Against Howard Tech

East Hamilton won the last time they faced Howard Tech and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Hurricanes blew past the Hustlin' Tigers 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Hurricanes, who have now won seven matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Grayson Maddox was incredible, scoring a run and stealing five bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Peyton Harris was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

East Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Howard Tech only posted an OBP of .409.

East Hamilton now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Howard Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

East Hamilton will take on Dalton at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Catamounts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hurricanes surely won't give up without a fight. As for Howard Tech, they will square off against East Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
