Football Recap: Zion-Benton's Undefeated Season over After Four Games + How To Watch

Zion-Benton lost against Lake Forest back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Zee-Bees fell 28-24 to the Scouts. While losing is never fun, the Zee-Bees can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 260th, while the Scouts are ranked 98th).

Having lost for the first time this season, Zion-Benton fell to 3-1. As for Lake Forest, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Zion-Benton will square off against Warren Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Forest, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lake Zurich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Scouts' offense will have their work cut out for them.
