Baseball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Croswell-Lexington Pioneers. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered since May 11, 2024.

Armada's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for Croswell-Lexington, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Armada will head out to take on Cousino at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Croswell-Lexington, they will venture away from home to face off against Glenn at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
