Soccer Recap: Tuesday's Win Is United's Eighth in Last Nine Outings

United won the last time they faced United South and things went their way on Tuesday too. The United Longhorns came out on top against the United South Panthers by a score of 3-1. Given the Longhorns' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 38th, while the Panthers are ranked 201st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

United hit United South with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Asael Montoya, Manny Martinez, and Sebastian Aguilar.

United is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 14-1-1 record this season. As for United South, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Del Rio the next time they take the pitch. United will host Del Rio at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, while United South will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
