Baseball Game Preview: Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves vs. Sacramento Dragons

The Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves will venture away from home to challenge the Sacramento Dragons at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Western Sierra Collegiate Academy has three straight victories, Sacramento has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy hadn't beaten Foresthill on the road since April 13, 2023 but that history sure didn't bother them last Tuesday. The Wolves walked away with a 10-5 win over the Wildfires.

Meanwhile, Sacramento came up short against Wood on Thursday, falling 14-3.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Sacramento, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11-1.

Western Sierra Collegiate Academy couldn't quite get it done against Sacramento when the teams last played back in March of 2022 as they fell 11-8. Can the Wolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
