Damion Jones leads Vance County to victory over Warren County

Recap: Vance County Vipers vs. Warren County Eagles

The Vance County Vipers entered their tilt with the Warren County Eagles with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Vance County walked away with a 56-47 victory over Warren County on Thursday. That's another feather in the cap for Vance County, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Damion Jones was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 13 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Shamir Sheppard, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Aaron Bolton, who scored nine points along with seven assists and four steals. Another player making a difference was Tony Henderson, who scored 13 points.

Vance County has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6 record this season. As for Warren County, they dropped their record down to 5-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road.
