Basketball Recap: Martinsville Takes a Loss

Martinsville was the 43-38 winner over Zavalla when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Martinsville Pirates were dealt a 61-33 loss at the hands of the Zavalla Eagles on Tuesday.

Martinsville's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-11. As for Zavalla, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Martinsville will look to defend their home court on Friday against Centerville at 6:00 p.m. As for Zavalla, they will head out to take on Apple Springs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
