Baseball Recap: Sunnyvale Comes Up Short

If Sunnyvale was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Ford last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Sunnyvale fell just short of Ford by a score of 8-7 on Friday. Sunnyvale was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Ford earlier this season, when they won 7-1.

Sunnyvale's loss dropped their record down to 12-7-2. As for Ford, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.

Sunnyvale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ford, they will face off against Caddo Mills at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Foxes' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
