Preview: MTI School of Knowledge vs. GEO Next Generation Eagles
MTI School of Knowledge has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the GEO Next Generation Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
After soaring to 65 points the game before, MTI School of Knowledge were a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Phalen Leadership Academy, falling 69-21. MTI School of Knowledge was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-15.
Meanwhile, GEO Next Generation earned a 40-29 victory over BELIEVE Circle City on Thursday. The win was just what GEO Next Generation needed coming off of a 53-25 defeat in their prior match.
GEO Next Generation's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Patrick Robinson led the charge by scoring 12 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Robinson has scored at least 25% of GEO Next Generation's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Antonio Wilson Jr., who scored 10 points.
Their wins bumped MTI School of Knowledge to 2-3 and Phalen Leadership Academy to 4-1.
MTI School of Knowledge took their victory against GEO Next Generation in their previous matchup back in January by a conclusive 53-27. Will MTI School of Knowledge repeat their success, or does GEO Next Generation have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
