Soccer Recap: Jones Takes a Loss

If Jones was riding high fresh off their 6-1 takedown of King last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Jones Trojans fell just short of the Calallen Wildcats by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Trojans couldn't quite close it out.

Jones' defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Calallen, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-7.

Coincidentally, Jones and Calallen will both be playing Bishop the next time they take the pitch. Calallen will head out to face Bishop at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, while Jones will head out to face them at 8:00 p.m. on March 4th.
