With a playoff win on the line, Ramona Convent rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Flintridge Prep Wolves with a sharp  12-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won eight games by seven  runs or more  so far this season.
 Madison Garcia was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched five innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double.
 In other batting news,  Citlali Garcia was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple. Another player making a difference was  Chloe Gonzalez, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 Ramona Convent was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .643. They are 14-2 when  they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Ramona Convent's victory  ended  a  four-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 17-9. As for Flintridge Prep,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-9.
 Ramona Convent wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  match,  a  13-7  win against Granite Hills on the 17th. Flintridge Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
