Volleyball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Riverside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bethel Bees, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18, 25-7.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bethel, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Riverside is set to challenge their familiar foe Northridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bethel will square off against rival Covington at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
