Volleyball Recap: Floyd Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grady, Floyd was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the San Jon Coyotes by a score of 3-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 23-25, 25-10, 25-20.

Floyd's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for San Jon, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 1-4.

San Jon has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Corona on the 30th. Hopefully Floyd paid attention to the Coyotes' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Coyotes at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
