Softball Recap: Westwood Redhawks vs. Spring Valley Vikings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Saluda, Westwood was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Spring Valley Vikings with a sharp 13-1 victory. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Redhawks this season.

Annarea Wilson made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one RBI.
