Softball Recap: Oberlin Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Oberlin's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They were the clear victor by a 24-5 margin over the Hackberry Mustangs. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Tigers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Oberlin's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Hackberry, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.

Coming up, Oberlin will be playing in front of their home fans against Elton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Oberlin is facing Elton at the right time seeing as Elton is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Hackberry, they will welcome Starks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Starks will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Hackberry surely won't give up without a fight.
