Recap: Lumberton Panthers vs. Purvis Tornadoes
This season hasn't been kind to the Lumberton Panthers, who are still winless after their fifth contest. They suffered a rough 62-41 defeat at the hands of Purvis on Monday. Lumberton has not had much luck with Purvis recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Jacoby Robinson was his usual excellent self, scoring 23 points along with 4 steals for Purvis. The match was Robinson's eighth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tytus Bridges, who scored 4 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals.
Lumberton has yet to win a game at home this season, leaving them with a 0-5 record. As for Purvis, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.
