Baseball Recap: Danbury Gets the Win

Danbury gave up the first runs on Tuesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top against the Oberlin Phoenix by a score of 8-4. The Lakers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Phoenix, too.

The team relied heavily on Logan Shepherd, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Danny Carroll, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Danbury has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Danbury will challenge Lakota at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. This will be the Lakers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Oberlin, they will face off against Mapleton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
