Basketball Recap: West Side Roughriders vs. Newark Central Blue Devils
West Side lost against Newark Central back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Side Roughriders took a 60-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Newark Central Blue Devils. The Roughriders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Yam'Bya Ndaw had an outrageously good game for Newark Central as he dropped a double-double with ten points and 11 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Ndaw now owns an excellent 46.1% shooting accuracy. Youssef Fofana also deserves some recognition as he posted his first block of the season.
West Side's defeat dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Newark Central, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-17.
