Basketball Recap: Broken Bow Takes a Loss

Broken Bow lost against Northwest back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Broken Bow Indians were outmatched by the Northwest Vikings and fell 69-42. The game marked the Indians' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Despite the loss, Broken Bow still got an impressive performance from Jesus Flores, who made all 5 shots he took for 12 points. Those 12 points gave Flores a new career-high.

Broken Bow has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Northwest, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Broken Bow will venture away from home to face off against McCook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in McCook's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against Lakeview on Friday.
