Baseball Recap: Berea Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Berea's offense. They came up short against the Seneca Bobcats on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The Bulldogs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Berea's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Seneca, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berea will welcome Liberty at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Red Devils have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for Seneca, they will be playing at home against Fox Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bobcats 2.6, the Predators 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
