Baseball Recap: Howell Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Timberland on Wednesday, Howell Central came back down to earth. The Spartans lost 12-2 to the Howell Vikings on Friday. The Spartans haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Howell Central's defeat dropped their record down to 22-20. As for Howell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 34-3 record this season.

Howell Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howell, they have already played their next game, a 5-2 loss against Fort Zumwalt West on the 24th.
