Cherokee is 8-2 against Waynoka since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Cherokee Chiefs will head out on the road to challenge the Waynoka Railroaders at 6:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Saturday, Cherokee came up short against Kremlin-Hillsdale and fell 39-29. The Chiefs haven't had much luck with the Broncs recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Waynoka had to suffer through a 63-30 loss at the hands of Turpin. The Railroaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cherokee's loss dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Waynoka, they now have a losing record at 6-7.

Everything came up roses for Cherokee against Waynoka in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the team secured a 63-24 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cherokee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
