            Volleyball Recap: Valders Vikings vs. Pewaukee Pirates        
        
		
        
        
            Valders had lost three straight on the road, but  on Saturday they dropped down to 22-13 to make it four. They fell just short of the Pewaukee Pirates by a score of  2-1. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing  2-0 to the Pirates when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
 Anna Olson paced Valders' offense, picking up five kills. Olson got some help from  Addison Grall and her seven assists.  Makenna Kaderabek controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
As for Pewaukee, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-13 record  this season. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  win they have posted  since September 27th.
 Leading Pewaukee to victory were  Kiley Eske and  Lucy May.  Eske  had 16  digs, while  May  had four  digs and three  aces. That's the most  digs  Eske has posted  over her last six  matchups.
 Valders has already played their next match,  a  2-0  loss against Denmark on the 18th. As for Pewaukee, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next  contest,  a  2-1  victory against Wisconsin Lutheran on the 18th.
