The Timberwolves were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Golden Eagles on Friday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Timberwolves considering their one-run performance the contest before.
Chloe Solis looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
At the plate, Natalie Lewis was excellent, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brianna McCoy, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
The victory snapped Clovis East's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-7-1 record. As for Clovis West, they dropped their record down to 15-8-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.
