Pearl is 3-0 against Oak Grove since December of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Pearl Pirates will look to defend their home court against the Oak Grove Warriors at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Pearl's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine contests.

Pearl is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Brandon just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 58-56. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Pirates came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Bulldogs are ranked 97th).

Meanwhile, Oak Grove came up short against Meridian on Friday and fell 51-43. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Pearl's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Oak Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Pearl took their victory against Oak Grove in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 73-48. Will Pearl repeat their success, or does Oak Grove have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
