Soccer Recap: Saint James Comes Up Short

Saint James managed to slip by St. Andrew's Episcopal the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Saints came up short against the Lions on Thursday, falling 5-0. Saint James just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Saint James' loss dropped their record down to 2-9-1. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their win bumped their record up to 2-4-1.

Saint James wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Kiski School on the 27th. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sidwell Friends at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidwell Friends will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something St. Andrew's Episcopal surely won't give up without a fight.
