The Woodland Christian Cardinals will square off against the San Juan Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Woodland Christian came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Mesa Verde, falling 3-0.

While Woodland Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mesa Verde's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-23.

Meanwhile, San Juan came up short against Foothill on Tuesday and fell 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-19, 22-25, 25-16.

Woodland Christian's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-10. As for San Juan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
