Basketball Game Preview: Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Trinity Christian Warriors

Notre Dame is 1-9 against Trinity Christian since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will venture away from home to take on the Trinity Christian Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Notre Dame will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, everything came up roses for Notre Dame against Liberty as the team secured a 61-24 win.

Selena Wilson was a one-woman wrecking crew for Notre Dame as she shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 29 points and 15 boards. Wilson is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Addy Murray, who posted nine points in addition to six steals and five boards.

Notre Dame smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive boards in six consecutive games dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Trinity Christian came up short against Fairmont Senior on Saturday and fell 46-38.
