Centennial is a perfect 10-0 against Roosevelt since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Friday, everything came up roses for Centennial against Rancho Cucamonga as the squad secured a 42-14 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won three contests by 28 points or more so far this season.

Centennial's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Malaki Davis led the charge by rushing for 61 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Dominick Catalano was another key player, rushing for 86 yards and one TD on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Centennial was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 328 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Meanwhile, Roosevelt earned a 35-26 victory over Santiago last Friday.

Centennial better keep an eye on Blake Nadler. He was instrumental in Roosevelt's win, throwing for 340 yards and four touchdowns. Another player making a difference was Shawn Leon, who picked up 67 receiving yards and a pair of scores.

Roosevelt now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 4-1.

Thursday's matchup might be decided in the trenches. Centennial has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 183 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Roosevelt, though, as they've been averaging only 27.6 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
