The Milford Eagles and the Loveland Tigers will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Milford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.6 points per game this season.

Milford took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 60-38 margin over Anderson. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-11.

Milford got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gabby Chadwell out in front who shot 56% from the field to rack up 14 points along with five assists and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Perone, who went 7-for-13 en route to 16 points and eight boards.

Milford smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Loveland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Winton Woods, falling 53-27.

Loveland now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Milford, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Milford was able to grind out a solid win over Loveland when the teams last played back in January, winning 49-36. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
