Salida hasn't had much luck against Lamar recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Spartans will square off against the Thunder at 3:00 p.m. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

On Thursday, Salida made easy work of Florence and carried off a 3-0 win. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Huskies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

One reason for the win was Salida's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 25-12.
