Corona put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Norco Cougars get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. The Panthers' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three matches.

Mason Sims looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Anthony Murphy and Billy Carlson did most of the damage at the plate: Murphy scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4, while Carlson scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3. Trey Ebel was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Corona's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games.
