Volleyball Recap: Chatfield Gophers vs. St. Charles Fighting Saints
With a playoff game on the line, Chatfield rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the St. Charles Fighting Saints 3-0. The win was familiar territory for the Gophers who have now won eight contests in a row.
Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Chatfield took every set by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-5, 25-7, 25-10.
Chatfield can attribute much of their success to Hannah Tweten, who had seven digs and six aces. That's the most aces Tweten has posted since back in September of 2023.
