Volleyball Recap: Clovis Wins Going Away Against El Capitan + How To Watch

Clovis won the last time they faced El Capitan and things went their way on Thursday too. The Cougars put the hurt on the Gauchos with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Clovis walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 26-24.

Nicole Ndole paced Clovis' offense, picking up 20 kills. Ndole got some help from Reina Dvorak and her 33 assists. Dvorak was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Clovis' victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for El Capitan, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-7.

Clovis and El Capitan will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Cougars are set to square off against their familiar foe Buchanan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, El Capitan will face off against rival Buhach Colony at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
