Kankakee is a perfect 9-0 against Thornwood since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Kays will look to defend their home field against the Thunderbirds at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, Kankakee turned things around against Crete-Monee on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Warriors. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Kays' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Kylie Glogowski made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 11 over five innings pitched.
