Softball Recap: Fort Hill Comes Up Short

Fort Hill came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Allegany Campers, falling 8-1. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Sentinels couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fort Hill's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Allegany, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Fort Hill will take on Northern Garrett on Thursday. As for Allegany, they will host Petersburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Campers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Vikings have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season.
